Montana/EWU game next weekend

The Eastern game next weekend is going to be huge. We still control our own destiny and it will be huge if we can get the win! I'll be there ready to be loud and proud! Let's do this, Griz!
 
Said this in another thread, but it bears repeating: EWU is playing for their playoff lives too. They're 6-3 and their final two are against UM and PSU. There's a very real chance they don't make the playoffs. Very real. Wonder if that's sunk in over there yet.

Really depends on what NAU, PSU, and EWU do....still way to many things that can happen

If SUU were to lose out and UM wins out, we'd tie for the conference title with whoever else has 2 conference losses. Now, determining who gets the auto bid depends on how all those teams do from here on out.
 
I actually like how the Griz match up against EWU. The Eags have been struggling to run the football lately. Also, Jordan West is very one dimensional and is a pocket passer with not a lot of threat to run. Add in the fact that the Eags have a pretty awful defense and even the inept Griz offense may have a chance at putting up 35 points or more. Depends on which Griz team shows up but having them at home will help. I could see Baldwin staring their young QB, Hennesey, who came off the bench today in place of an unproductive West and led them to a TD. He has the ability to run more. Would love to see a Griz win. Both teams are fighting for the playoffs and a Griz win to keep them out would be even better. Go Griz!
 
Should be a heck of a game next weekend, basically a playoff game. Eastern may need to win out because they don't have a great resume if they are 7-4.

Not sure an Eastern loss was a good thing for the Griz, may have woke the team up, at least I hope. Plus EWU drops to at least 9 or 10 in the rankings if not worse so they won't be top 5 heading into Missoula. Wouldn't be surprised to see Hennessey start at QB next week over West. West has been struggling lately and Hennessey is now back from injury.

Should be a helluva game next weekend...

If a miracle 14-13 win over Weber didn't wake y'all up, why should a blowout loss?

Because Eastern played like crap and still won against Weber. Much different feeling after a loss...c'mon.

It will be an interesting game on Saturday, Griz are due against Eastern, but Eastern has a ton to play for next weekend, even more now with a loss this Saturday.
