Read the article. Seems like the kid is a stud on stilts. Always pull for someone out of the 6-man football ranks !!
Completely agree! I have just never heard of a grad transfer coming from an NAIA school. Was he recruited? Did he have some sort of "tryout"? I guess they are mainly questions that will likely go unanswered. I just think it would be an interesting set of events.
Ryder is a walk-on graduate transfer. Once he got accepted into a UM Graduate Program he was academically eligible. All that was left was to walk on and prove he is athletically eligible. Clearly, he did that! He’s got a motor that don’t quit and I’m confident he is going to make his presence known at Wa-Griz and across the Big Sky Conference.
Or it might have something to do with the returning talent from last year.
I'm not saying he can't do it, but to think the overall skill level from naia to fcs isn't a jump is being a bit disrespectful.
It can be done . All I'm saying is pump the brakes a little.

How many times did you see him in practice this fall?

How often did you see him play at Rocky?

Returning talent is good. This good appears to be capable of being great.

Pump the brakes on your mouth a little.

For those of you lucky enough to see practice did anybody notice any of these guys;

5 Kobey Eaton
31 Trace LeTexier
35 Braxton Hill
46 Jed Nagler
62 Dylan Eickmeyer
79 Esai Longoria
97 RJ Nelson

I know Coach doesn't talk about injuries, fair enough, these are just guys who have been Griz for a while and I didn't hear much about through camp. I included Hill because Grossman got quite a bit of buzz and they were both grey-shirts last year. Any insights from those in the know?

Based on practice viewing, Braxton Hill is going to be a stud. Strong strong dude.

I too was wondering about the Hurlburt kid at defensive end......a three star with lots of speed and hype on signing day.....anyone know how he is doing in practice ?

He's on special teams and is traveling with the team. I hear he is pumped up.

Haha. You are too funny!!!

I am curious how crow is looking this year.
I keep hoping/thinking that this will be his breakout year, bigger sizes safety who can really hit. Seen it a lot on special teams. It would be nice to see him roaming the secondary this year

He wasn’t on the two deep. Behind 6 other safeties right now.

Crow is listed as 2nd string behind Hauck.

Crow has looked like a big hitting safety since being moved back to his natural position this year.

Think you might have missed his name. He's going to play and play quite a bit. He's backing up Hauck in that run controlling/ run the alley position. He's a legit hammer.
