I have the Optimum Silver package. All I get is a Not Authorized ESPNU message.

You might have the Optimum Silver package that was in effect before April 2012. You cannot get ESPNU with it. To get ESPNU for the same monthly cost, you would have to switch to the new Preferred package, but you would give up Showtime and Starz. To keep your current channels, you would have to switch to the new Silver package for another $15 per month.

The woman from Optimum was very helpful.
