Well, who is it gonna be??? Capital stumbled, West has lost, Helena had to score in the last 40 seconds to be GFH, Senior didn't look great against Hellgate.....

I still think it will be Helena and Capital at the end. West, Senior and Glacier wouldn't surprise me to be there.

I am pretty sure the Missoula schools and Skyview can clear their playoff calendars... :(
 
Haven't seen Glacier play.

Top three are West, Capital, Helena. flip a coin.

Senior has a great offense but I think their D will let them down in the playoffs. West vs Senior this week so that will help clear it up a bit.

Skyview is playing a large number of youngsters. Yea they won't be there this year. Missoula High Schools still play football????
 
After 8 weeks here are the standings.

1. Helena High 8-0
(Plays at Butte 4-4 and at Capital 7-1)
Assured a playoff spot... and a first round home game.
If they win out, will be at home for the playoffs.
Has wins over Glacier 7-1 and West 7-1, and play Capital 7-1 on the last weekend of the regular season. Only a loss to Capital could keep them from being the #1 seed.

2. Billings West 7-1
(Lost to Helena High by 7)
(Plays at Big Sky 4-4 and home vs. Skyview 1-7)
Assured a playoff spot... and a first round home game, and because they beat beat 5-3 Senior.
Have the easiest two final games of the top four, 4-4 Big Sky and 1-7 Skyview.
Will be a top two seed if they win thier last two games. Only Helena could be a higher seed if West finishes in a 9-1 tie, because Helena beat Beat West by 7.

3. Helena Capital 7-1
(Lost to West by 14)
(Plays home vs. Glacier 7-1 and home vs. Helena 7-1)
Assured a playoff spot... and a first round home game, and because they beat 5-3 Senior.
Will be a top two seed if they win thier last two games. Only West could be a higher seed if Capital finishes 9-1, because West beat Capital by 14.

4. Kalispell Glacier 7-1
(Lost to Helena High by 7)
(Plays at Capital 7-1 and home vs. Big Sky 4-4)
Assured a playoff spot, a Glacier win or a Senior loss, puts Glacier at home for the first weekend of the playoffs.
Will most likely be a top two seed if they win thier last two games. Only Helena (or West, they did not play Glacier) could be a higher seed if Glacier finishes in a 9-1 tie, because Helena beat Beat Glacier by 7.

5. Billings Senior 5-3
(Lost to Billings West, Capital and Butte)
(Plays at Great Falls 3-5 and home vs. Bozeman 2-6)
Is in the playoffs with one more win.
Could miss the playoffs if they lose last two games

6. Butte High 4-4
(Lost to CMR, West, Bozeman and Capital)
(Plays home vs. Helena and home vs. Sentinel)
Win thier last 2 and they are in the playoffs.
Holds tie breakers over Senior with a 21-12 win and Bigsky with a 40-0 win. Other wins were Skyview 1-7 and Hellgate 1-7.

7. Missoula Big Sky 4-4
(Lost to Butte, Capital, CMR and Flathead)
(Plays home vs. West 7-1 and at Glacier 7-1)
Win thier last 2 and they are in the playoffs, however that is VERY doubtful as they play Glacier and West.
Would lose tie breakers to Flathead and CMR because they lost to both. Will not play the other 3-5 team Great Falls this year.
CMR, Flathead and Butte all hold tie breaker wins over Big Sky.

8. Great Falls CMR 3-5
(Lost to Glacier, Capital, Helena, Senior and West)
(Plays at Flathead 3-5 and at Great Falls 3-5)
Controls their own destiny... simply put beat the other two 3-5 teams Flathead and Great Falls and they are in.

9. Kalispell Flathead 3-5
(Lost to Capital, Glacier, Helena, Bozeman and Senior)
(Plays home vs. CMR 3-5 and at Hellgate 1-7)
Controls their own destiny... win thier last two and they are in... a loss and they are out.

10. Great Falls High 3-5
(Lost to West, Flathead, Capital, Helena and Glacier)
(Plays at home vs. Senior 5-3 and at home vs. CMR 3-5)
Needs to win final two games and get some help.

11. Bozeman High 2-6
(Lost to Sentinel, Great Falls, West, Glacier Skyview and Big Sky)
(Play at home vs. Hellgate 1-7 and at Senior 5-3 )
The defending champs are very doubtful to make the playoffs. They need to win last two and PRAY!!!

12. Missoula Hellgate 1-7
(Beat Sentinel)
(Plays Bozeman and Flathead)
ARE OUT OF THE PLAYOFFS

13. Missoula Sentinel 1-7
(Beat Bozeman)
(Plays Skyview and Butte)
ARE OUT OF THE PLAYOFFS

14. Billings Skyview 1-7
(Beat Bozeman)
(Plays Sentinel and West)

After all that being said, I think it ends like this...

1-Helena High 10-0

2A. West 9-1
2B.Glacier 9-1
West and Glacier DNP and both lost to Helena by 7
West beat Capital by 14, so I guess that Glacier would have to beat Capital by more then 14 this weekend to win the tie breaker with West.

4 Capital 7-3 (Capital beat Senior)
5. Senior 7-3
6. CMR 5-5 (CMR beat Butte)
7. Butte 5-5
8. Flathead 4-6 (Flathead beat Big Sky)

BigSky 4-6
Bozeman 3-7 (Bozeman beat Great Falls)
Great Falls 3-7
Sentinel 2-8
Skyview 1-9 (dont know the tie breaker DNP Hellgate... Skyview beat Bozeman)
Hellgate 1-9 (dont know the tie breaker DNP Skyview... Hellgate beat Sentinel)
 
I think you have it right with West as # 2. Glacier is pretty good, but I think either Capital or Senior would beat them. Glacier will be really good next year. Most of their playmakers are Juniors.
