Mo No More

At the last scrimmage I sat with two former mascots and watched everything unfold. Then we went out and golfed with a few other guys, one of whom was a former Griz mascot and two others who were Big 12 mascots. They all said the same thing. Mo was very pedestrian, not FCS talent, and it's clearly the fault of Haslam and Mick Delaney that we let him stay a part of the program this long.

You know, don't you, that most of those former mascots laugh at you behind your back? You're the laughing stock of the Western Montana former mascot community. I was a club team mascot back in the day, and officiated several mascot competitions at the semi-pro level. I know talent when I see it. Although I agree with the main point of your post, I feel compelled to act like I don't and take a few pot shots at you.

I heard Scott Gragg was a big reason he was recruited and given a starting role.

I make more money than you so your opinion doesn't mean anything

Typical response from a typical sugar coater. If you don't see the bigger issue in the complete mismanagement these mascots, then I don't have an answer for you. I was just down at the Mo Club playing golf on a lake with 14 former mascots. They all felt sorry that they were former mascots, but I think they really felt sorry for you. Therefore, I will represent that they felt sorry for you. Also, I memorized the hexadecimal times tables when I was 14 and writing machine code. Ask me what four times F is. It's fleventy-five.

No great loss. I say get a real Griz to run out on the field sorta like Colorado does with the Buff or Texas with Bevo! Can you picture that! I bet that would make ESPN!

Colorado is stupid. Let 'em be.

I decided to crunch some data on the mascots. And after tweaking that data to be concrete evidence to support my point, I will state now, that the best mascot(s) has been unemployed.

Would you two quit derailing my thread and get back to talking football?

I was focused on Mo's mechanics and in recent interviews Mo stated the old turf didn't allow him to install his entire offense. Although others will dispute it, I also heard there was a divide between him and Monte. Monte insisted on Kid Rock while Mo wanted new age Justin Bieber (post My World 2.0, obviously) and a resurgence of the Jimmy John's sandwich contest. Monte would also not allow Mo breaks in hopes of running up the backflips count.

I told all of you that Mo was a bad idea when he was recruited. Small paw size. The lack of true mascot knowledge on this board is truly appalling.

If it weren't for our enrollment issues, we'd have been able to keep Mo. Pretty soon Champ will overtake us and be the national mascot of the year (pre-season voting). Fucking Engstrom.

Sounds like I will have to retire my carved mascot of MO and not bring him to the tailgate anymore...

He would make a nice hood ornament... :thumb:

A bit large I would say...he weighs over 40lbs...see you at the tailgate!
