MISSING PILLOWS @ MARRIOTT IN PORTLAND

Sad to hear for our State and our Men's Basketball program!! The team took pillows from the Marriott hotel in Portland for the bus ride home. The Marriott called the school and reported 13 pillows MISSING from their rooms that our team was staying in. The Men's B-ball staff had their school Credit Cards taken away from them because of this incident. I would have hoped our Coaches would have known better and the Wayne Hogan and Dennison need to re-think the status of this program!! :(
 
very prominent bar owner is the person who told us it happened and he heard it from a "Griz" very reliable source.

But seriously, what significance could this possibly have to Griz fans? All a post like this does is start a bunch of rumors that aren't necessary.

Even if its true, the University should be ashamed, not the coaches. MSU took a bus to Seattle and then they flew to EWU that weekend. I'm sure a few pillows didn't even dent the amount of money UM saved by forcing the team onto a 12 hour bus ride.

Once again, absolutely ridiculous to post this on a fan board. Heard it from a "prominent" person who heard it from a "reliable" Griz source = BS.
 
Gym Rat, did you read Sunday's paper 3/21/04. It wasn't gossip that I posted about the coaches and their credit cards was it!!! :D
 
I don't think the Missoulian article said anything about credit cards being taken away on account of 13 missing pillows. sarge/oprah- it's time to move on! :oops:
 
No it didn't say anything about the pillows, but after that incident happened is when the credit cards were taken away. Coach Tinkle told us that!!
