i sure loved the slate uni's, wish we could incorporate that look into our school colors...the football people are so fashion-conscious, why not over here?...how come recruiting info is so sparse here, v. other boards? the legendary mslacat keeps bobcat nation humming with player speculations, while it's probably the #1 topic on the weber board, but over here we go weeks with nary a specualation...speaking of recruits, a biggie is a kid named ivan rabb from the bay area, plays on the same team with another of our ex-recruits, boise-bound paris austin. rabb, 6'10", ranked in the top 20 nationally, is down to cal and arizona as his final choices, but the local paper just named both rabb and austin co-players of the year. they say austin really upped his game his senior year..still, i've got a feeling we covered for austin with walter wright...could we all pool our travel knowledge and come up with a foreign country untapped for basketball recruits? i bring this up since the kings just signed a 7'5" kid, the first ever n.b.a. player from india. but since montana gets such little national coverage in either football or basketball, maybe we're our own foreign country...can we say the big sky coach of the year balloting was a travis-ty? told ya. small brain.

The 7'5" kid is of Indian decent but was born and raised in Canada and played college ball at New Mexico St. His little (7'2") brother is still at NMS if I remember correctly.
