I am really hoping we get that wagriz atmosphere for weebs again...im telling ya last year it was on a tuesday night and it was totally insane! I know it was for the conf title and it was at the end of the regular season but this game is every bit as huge! Only bad luck and eligibility kept us from having the inside game we needed?? We still have a very fun and dynamic team, but Weber is just a little ahead of us in every catagory?? Come On Griz Nation?? We have ISU thur, and Weebs sat! Weebs may own Griz Nation in attendance, but if we put just a little of WAGRIZ in DAHLBERG we will prevail just based on noise alone?? I was talking to my brother about this the other day. I think this awesome game, in the middle of the season will help attendance the rest of the season. Last year all the highly attended games were at the end of the season so once the NCAA tourney rolled around, we had no carry over. If we can get a few good crowds, and maybe host the tourney...MAYBE just MAYBE that "fan momentum" could carry over to the next season! not saying it will because this year its just hard for me to beleive, after the end of last season being such a blast, that the fans didnt come back. That conf tourney chipper was an absolute party the last 12 mins! SO FUN! Hopefully some of the casual fans will pull their heads out and make something happen!
