Mike Kramer on Wa Griz

I ♡ Mike Kramer.

I would follow him into battle any day.

Mainly behind his skull..

All joking aside, Kramer represents everything I was taught about football.

I like Kramer, he is a great interview for sure and a good motivator.

All that being said, for those saying he would do great here, I don't think so. Look at his coaching resume. His teams occasionally win games they aren't supposed to, which is why a lot of us like him.

But more often than not, they lose games they absolutely should have won.

Everyone has forgot the absolute ruins he left Bozeman in when he was terminated.

And I will never, ever be able to justly repay that glorious debt to him.

Had a one on one with Kramer yesterday. His memories of Montana and the people who reside here are still fond.

Kramer's reverence for the Treasure State still runs deep

He is a cool guy. Green Meadow hosts a Bobcat Scramble every summer. My son worked the bag room there in his high school years. He trolled all the Cats that day by wearing his Griz hat to work. In the days of the $1 tip, the Big Human tipped him a $10, most likely with a quip and a smile.

I've always had a soft spot for The Big Human....always tells it like it is, doesn't sugar coat anything, just straight up truth.

Least we forget that while Kramer was at MSU, his assistant head coach was selling meth. Please, let that sink in for a moment. The guy is a quote-machine and knows his football, but I think he is lucky that ISU was desperate enough to take him.

Kramer has been coach of the year with three different BS teams, down to earth, loves Montana...easy guy to respect and to cheer for. He didn't seem to have a problem with fans of UM, he said with that amount of fans(25K-26K) there are going to be expectations to win.

The diversity of fans is what makes the group easy to be a part of...you can always find ones you agree with and ones you don't get along with.

Mike showed great respect for the fans...being involved with schools that don't have this kind of following makes him envy what we got. That says a lot from a guy that has played and coached the game for several decades. He probably wasn't joking that he would pay to coach the game he loves.

Glad he got removed from MSU he was getting things in order over there. It was cool to see him acknowledge how the atmosphere at WA Griz stadium should motivate visiting teams to play better also.

What's the point on the asst coach/meth comment? Yes, that's true. Are saying that Kramer should never get a coaching job again because an assistant coach did this?
