I believe Chavez is planning to re-enroll at UM for the second semester.

It is very hard to adjust to campus life when you come from the reservation. I think there is a lot more going on then his health. You feel very isolated being one of the very few native americans on campus. Hopefully he will be able to make it.

All Mike has to do is stop the partying, stay out of the bars and change some of the friends he hangs out with. And he will then have the potential to be a great player and person.

Chavez should have redshirted in order to let him adjust to college and the college game. He was also overweight and out of shape.
