NOTE: The Mid-Major Poll is made up of teams from the following conferences: America East, Atlantic Sun, Big Sky, Big South, Big West, Colonial, Great West, Horizon, Independents, Ivy, Metro Atlantic, Mid-American, Mid-Eastern, Missouri Valley, Northeast, Ohio Valley, Patriot, Southern, Southland, Southwestern, Summit, Sun Belt, West Coast.

The CollegeInsider.Com Mid-Major Top 25 is now in its twelfth season of existence.

I think out of conference games are killing UNC right now. If they continue to stay hot in big sky play, they will be the top 25. I watched them before the conference season started. They have improved a lot.

I'm a little surprised that Oakland continues to stay in the top 10. They've gotten a great deal of milage out of their Tennessee win and close loss to Mich State. Yes, they've played a number of very good teams, but they don't have a lot of good wins outside the Tenn win.

Interesting we leapfrogged Portland. Did they drop a game?
Their last loss was three games ago to the Zags. This Portland team has played a good schedule and their only losses are to good teams: Gonzaga, #23 Wash., #12 Kentucky, and PAC 10 Wash. ST!

And the other top 25 teams they played were blowouts. I like how they had the guts to play 5 top 25 teams though!

Which has me scratching my head more as to why we leapfrogged them with wins over EWU and PSU?

We've arrived.

Look at the company. Butler, Zaga, George Mason, ODU.

I think the respect comes from our wins coming from a short handed squad.

When Jamar gets back and Aughtry starts taking more minutes from Wood, this squad is going to be scary good.

I had tears in my eyes when Cherry iced the end of the PSU game by draining all his frees.

Cherry is a SOPHMORE, folks. For the first time in the history of UM athletics we have a player that not only lived-up-to his hype, but exceded it in every way possible .

...wow..nice post dub...
...what happened...
...did you get laid...

... 8-) ...

It's BB. Lower expectations.
