Montana has had some excellent athletes over the years. Simply put Michael Ray Richardson was in a class by himself. Overall probably the best athlete to ever to play in the Big Sky Conference in any sport.

Glad he came to Montana. Grateful I was able to watch him play. Sorry he’s passed so young. God bless his family.

One of my favorite bits of trivia: Larry Bird was drafted #6 overall; the same year, Micheal Ray Richardson was drafted #4. A great talent.
