That's the first time I have watched this with the announcers...whom ever the JACKASS is that is running his mouth like a thug in the booth ought to have his ass sent packing as well. Coker is done! He lost control of the program years ago.

Swilly the REAL problem is people like you are ok with this behavior instead of throwing the hammer down.
Then the idiot thugs think, "hmm it's ok, I never got in trouble last time". I would prefer they said something like, " there is noway I will ever do something like that again after my punishment, I lost my scholarship, my priviledge to play football, and now I get to think about that all day while I make liscense plates, When I get out I am going to act like a civil human being, grow the fuck up and leave the world a better place than when I was a kid".
These players should not be on TV, not allowed to play football and held "BEYOND" accountable for their actions. Instead people with your mindset will go esy on them, think they are cool, blame it on race or income level, or whatever excuse you can come up with.
This thing will happen again and again more frequently until it is almost the norm.

What I would do:
Suspend all players involved in the fight for 2 games
Suspend players who: used helmet as a weapon, stomped on other players, or resisted containment from refs or police for entire season (lose elgitablility)
Fire Coker, now, send a message. Usually I wouldn't put the blame on the coach, but how many classless acts has his team displayed. FIU coach put on probation.
Both teams take a loss.
I do feel that some of the players involved were either protecting themselves or trying to stop the fight. If you were in the middle and someone attacked you, wouldn't you fight back.

They ought try and "let them go" like in hockey. Once the fight is over then throw the bums out for the rest of the game and suspend them for as many additional games as the NCAA feels is acceptable. In addition, the player that starts the fight gets the more severe punishment.
It is just too bad that nobody had the nuts to just stop the game and give both an "L". Miami won on the scoreboard, but everyone lost in that game.
