Mens Scrimmage at 10:30 for about hour. Today Sat 4th

:thumb: I was glad that I visited the scrimmage. I have been watching from the cheap seats all year. It was interesting to see things up close and at floor level. A little more time off should help increase the energy level by Tue. :thumb:

:offtopic: Major snow storm in Missoula started at 7:45 and has been doing it all day. Getting pretty warm now but it was slick city about 9:30 AM. 4-6 inches of wet wet snow at 2:30 PM. :offtopic:

Scrimmage wasn't bad, a few highlights that I noticed

- At one point early Virgil hit three 3-pointers in a row.

- Criswell played hard hit some good shots all over the court

- Hasquet and Chavez each drained some deep shots.

- Sharp looked really good, he played really well.

In the end it was a bit of 1s vs 2s kind of, the 2s flew all over the place, with good movement and speed, fun to watch.

There may have been 60 people there. I'm sure the weather didn't help. Hasquet really shined in the first "game" as did Virgil in the 2nd. The floor seats give one a good view of all of the pushing and grabbing that goes on! I thought the guys looked a little tired. They probably would rather play against someone else. Van Vleit (medical redshirt) did not play but was walking around ok and had no brace on his knee. I liked the energy of Sharp and Mayes. At one point, when someone was shooting free throws, some little guy (maybe one of Krysko's sons) was bouncing a basketball along the baseline. Chavez tuned to him and very patiently put his finger to his lips in shhhhhh mode. The little guy complied! :thumb: Another big time Saturday morning in Missoula!
