Major kudos to the players and coaching staff...3.16 team GPA and two players on Dean's List! TDC practices what he preaches. :thumb:

Congratulations Men! Great work on the real life aspect of college. Anyone see how the Lady Griz did?
Edit: missed it the first time at the bottom. Great work Ladies as well. Excellent to see all of the teams do so well!

The Griz soccer team, the same semester it advanced to the semifinals of the Big Sky Conference tournament, had a 3.49 GPA in the fall.

It was the fourth straight term over 3.4 for coach Mark Plakorus's team, which had 27 of 32 players post a GPA of 3.0 or higher last semester. The program has a 10-semester GPA of 3.34 under Plakorus, who completed his fifth season as coach in the fall.

Five teams had semester GPAs of 3.3 or better in the fall. Men's tennis, which had its sixth straight term at 3.28 or better, posted a 3.39, women's track and field a 3.38, volleyball a 3.36 and women's golf and men's cross country a 3.33.

Coach Steve Ascher's women's tennis team, which had the department's heaviest academic load in the fall, an average of 16.9 credits per athlete, had a semester GPA of 3.26. All seven players were at 3.0 or better.

Women's basketball came in at 3.20, men's track and field at 3.13, a high-water mark for coach Brian Schweyen's program, which broke 3.0 for the first time last semester at 3.07.

The softball team had a GPA of 2.87, the football team a 2.85, with 55 of 102 players posting a semester GPA of 3.0 or better.
