Looks like the boys are headed to KryseenvkehaghekyeeeVille to take on the Dukies.....should be great experience and a little bit of a step up in scheduling :dope:

This rumor has been circulating for a couple weeks now, it is great to hear that Tinkle was able to set it up.



...Now all that said, as a very loyal Tar Heel fan ........ Go Griz!
 
As a huge Griz and Carolina fan, I can't think of a game that could get my blood boiling more than that. I hope its true.
 
I have been waiting for someone to announce this as I was told the news two weeks ago. I am looking very forward to the challenge for the Griz. I think half the battle of collegiate sports is cammeraderie and it looks as though we may just have it now with Tinkle's recruits and some potential character players no longer with the team. I am jacked!
 
Hopefully it works out this time around. I remember Tinkle talking with Duke while he was assistant coach trying to get a game scheduled. I think it's been tossed around for about 4 years now.
 
They were close to getting it last year, but couldn't move a couple of things. Glad to hear they were able to get it done this year.

As stated in thread about Lady Griz schedule. Be really interesting day when the Griz meet Cats. Will be a day-night double header. lady in afternoon, Griz in evening.
So, have there ever been a day-night double header before with Lady Griz and Griz against the Cats? Don't think so. I know They played at home on same day before though against other teams.

Plus, if Griz travel to Cameroon after 11/23/2008 and before 12/03/2008, I could have an outside chance of being there.
 
As stated the schedule will not come out until next week.... but cat-griz weekend is going to be really wild....with a trip to cameron indoor the day after the football game.
 
Excellent news! That will be great exposure for the program. Congrats to Tinks and O'Day for scheduling this.
