Longer piece but worth reading. I'm curious what are resident legal eagles think about whether this will fly in Title IX terms. I tend to think it will be a bonanza for law firms on first reading. I could be all wet though I always liked Perry Mason.
My other take is the constituency for non revenue sports is going to blow a gasket. Probably not that big a deal some places but you have to think at places like USC, Stanford, UCLA or UWa. it could be an issue.
