McNair gets bogus DUI

I can't believe the laws in some states. Steve McNair just got a DUI in Tennessee. But he wasn't even driving. How? His brother-in-law was driving His Airness' vehicle and blew enough to pop. Under Tennessee law, McNair was arrested as well. That's all fine and dandy, but to term it a DUI? That's patently bogus. Now he's probably going to get into double jeopardy with Roger "Goebels" Goodell.

Lots of people get DUI's not driving or even being in a car.

All DUI's are bogus unless there is a wreck involved.

Apparently Wyoming has abandon the open container law.. now no one in the vehicle can have a beer open, nor can alcohol be within the reach of the driver.. but they still have drive-thru liquor stores. WTF?! I think it's a little bogus that passengers can get DUI's... HELLO, THAT'S WHY THEY'RE PASSENGERS!

It was S-Mac's car. That is why he got a DUI

Only in Tennessee, dumb-dumb. We already established that. Like normal, you've contributed absolutely NOTHING to the conversation. You'd do well to learn from GB.

Yeah, just ask Blain Taylor! He wasn't even driving.

Montana DUI statue.

61-8-401. Driving under influence of alcohol or drugs -- definitions. (1) It is unlawful and punishable, as provided in 61-8-442, 61-8-714, and 61-8-731 through 61-8-734, for a person who is under the influence of: (a) alcohol to drive or be in actual physical control of a vehicle upon the ways of this state open to the public;

If Blaine Taylor was sleeping it off, even in the back seat, he was in physical control of the vehicle.

Thanks... I was being a smartass and you had to take me seriously. By the way it is written as 61.8.401. There are no - marks.

If your sleeping in a car and get a DUI, the cop the judge and all thelawyers invloved should be removed from their duties.

WOW freak out

just have to ask.....How exactly is one in physical control of a parked non running vehicle while sleeping in the back seat or the front seat for that matter? And how does sleeping in a parked non running vehicle endanger anyone?

Didn't talk to me for a couple years now he has since thanked me.

Good to hear. I bet he was a cat fan when he was pulled over that "night." You, as any good brother would do, brought him back to the side of the good guys... DAH GRIZ!
