McKenzie Holt.

Inspector Griz

Well-known member
So I am going to go out on a limb and say Holt will see the field as a true freshman at RB. I think he is going to bring a different level of physical play at RB. In a way he kind of reminds me of Ryan Nall at Oregon State. If Holt can play like Nall Griz fans will be very pleased.

If you have not seen Ryan Nall or the Wrecking Nall as they call him catch the Civil War tomorrow at 1:00 Pacific. Kid is fun to watch once he get trucking! I think the Griz could use a back like this and Holt may be just the young man to do it! Plus he's a Bluehawk!

I am fairly sure that Holt will not play RB.

Ryan Nall was supposed to play LB at OSU.6'2" 234 lbs. So why can't Holt play RB at UM?

What Nall tomorrow and your opinion may change after that!

I'm going to go out on a limb and say its going to be a while before MacKenzie plays anywhere for the Griz. He has a long way to go. Physically he is great. Everything else needs a ton of work and development. My advice would to be patient with him.

So he's better then Calhoun, last years three star recruit Rey Green, and Sr to be Treshawn Favors? Impresive!

Not even in the same ballpark. Being recruited as an offensive lineman.

No way that Holt plays RB. He will likely redshirt. Physically, he's impressive.

His redshirt year will be huge for him. It will likely make him, or break him. He has a lot of maturing to do, in the class room and self discipline. He is not a GRIZ for what he has already accomplished on the field, and the classroom. He is a GRIZ because of a very high ceiling for potential. At this stage, the foundation is just beginning to be laid.

I hope and pray, he does become the player, person, and student that lives up his vast potential.
