I was talking with Coach Saban the other day, and he said Melott reminded him of a young Joe Montana but with Elway’s arm and Mike Vick’s speed/agility. He said that they sure whiffed on not signing the guy, and that they wouldn’t be able to stop him. I bet he’s also a really good bowler and can play the harp like nobody’s business. He’s never had a trans fat, not one, not even in the Dakotas. Most likely, he’ll be declared Emperor of the United States by next fall.

That’s what Coach Belichick said when I spoke with him earlier. He called to ask how quickly he could get Melott in a Pats jersey. He wants him doing Butte Stuff all over Boston. I told him that Tommy Touchdown had some unfinished biz in the FCS. First, get to 20 career completions. Then, liberate France. Finally, colonize Mars.

Bobby must be beside himself that he couldn’t land this recruit. 😂. He probably learned from it though!

I'm sure it's the biggest regret of his professional life. When John Madden and I spoke about Melott last night, he told me that Bobby not signing Melott will go down as one of the biggest gaffes since Boston traded The Babe to the Yankees. He's quite literally the most incredible QB anyone has ever seen.

WOW, I have to say the young lad from Butte has really made a name nationally for himself with that national exposure on ESPN2. All those big names talking him up. I am impressed they all have CDA's phone number and were calling him to voice their amazement. I have a new respect for CDA, he is the man!

Thanks, BS33. Jimbo Fisher was just on the horn asking me about what he could do to make his players more Tough. I told him I didn't know because I've never coached a football game in my life, but he kept pressing me for info on Melott. I told him about pasties, but he misunderstood and headed over to Bottoms Up Gentleman's Club in Pensacola. I made fun of him for his ridiculous name, and then he hung up. Odd guy.

Best guess after Frisco!...there's just no way he stays in Bozeman!
