McGinnis?

Curious why Sidney's Michael McGinnis is being classified as a Linebacker. He was originally listed as a safety when he verballed, then as a safety/linebacker, and now only as a linebacker. I've been told on good authority that his first look as a Griz will be as an outside receiver, and then as a safety. My guess is he ends up playing the safety position but that is purely speculation. Any insight on the linebacker classification?
