I know a lot of us were watching the DOJ release but I'm surprised no one else had posted this.

MISSOULA -- Max Media of Montana announced the initial telecast schedule for its coverage
of Montana State University and University of Montana Football this Fall. Max Media has secured
the rights to nine games and is in negotiations for additional games from both schools. The initial schedule includes eight Big Sky Conference matchups - four for each of the schools - as well as the MSU vs. Stephen F. Austin game from Southland Conference.

All games will be produced and televised in high-definition, and available on Max Media stations
KTMF/Missoula-Kalispell, KWYB/Butte-Bozeman, KFBB/Great Falls, KHBB/Helena and
KULR/Billings.

Max Media Montana President Linda Gray said, "We are thrilled to partner with the Big Sky
Conference to bring our viewers quality MSU and UM football broadcasts. This will be Max
Mediaʼs tenth year producing and airing a schedule of BSC games and our enthusiasm for the
conference and the teams continues to skyrocket."

Ms. Gray went on to say "Max Media of Montana is passionate about being Montanaʼs leader in local high definition television. We were the first in the Big Sky Conference to produce our games in HD and are currently the only Montana TV stations broadcasting our local newscasts in HD".

2013 MSU/UM Football broadcasts on Max Media of Montana Stations

9/21 Montana State @ Stephen F. Austin
9/28 Montana State @ North Dakota
10/5 Northern Arizona @ Montana State
10/12 Montana @ UC Davis
10/19 Montana @ Cal Poly
10/26 UC Davis @ Montana State
11/2 Montana @ Sacramento State
11/16 Weber State @ Montana
11/16 Southern Utah @ Montana State

**The nine game football schedule may grow**

So going down the list I see:

vs App
@ UND
vs OKP
@ NAU (Root)
vs PSU (Root)
@ UCD (Max Media)
vs CPSLO (Max Media)
vs EWU (Root)
@ Sac (Max Media)
@ USD
vs WSU (Max Media)
@ MSU (Root)

It looks like most all of MSU's games are either Root or Max Media now and I notice the Max Media release states there's more they're bidding on. Montana has 4 they've not yet tied down and of course people are wondering if the UM is holding out on the App game for a major broadcast.

I'd bet that when it's all said and done probably only the OKP game might not be televised.

For those of us fortunate enough to attend home games, just need UND and USD to get them all!

Good to see that MM has picked up these games and hopefully (for those of us out-of-state) we have the satellite option. I'm with you Brint...the hint that there may be more sounds encouraging for the remaining 3-4.

Max Media is trying to get 3 of the 4 Griz games that not already going to be telecast. Not sure which 3 games they are yet.

My guess: NOT Panhandle State.

UM is playing in Slotown this year, and Davis? Well, damn...miracles do happen!

The Cal Poly game is in Missoula.

Has anyone heard anything new about the date and time of the App State game?

Thanks in advance.
