Maverick Brewfest

This event is held Sept 15th at Caras Park. Besides being able to taste numerous beers this event is a fundraiser for kids sports in the Missoula area. No it is not for baseball only.
If you are in town for the Savanna State game head on down for some beer tasting and whatever else. :mrgreen:

Thanks for posting this Polson. Actually, this doesn't have anything to do with the American Legion baseball team "Missoula Mavericks". It is put on by the Missoula Athletic Council, which also goes by "Mavericks".

However, this is a great event, and the MAC is a great organization. All of their proceeds go to numerous youth sports organizations around the area, including baseball, basketball, soccer, softball, wrestling, swimming, rugby, lacrosse, and many others. They provide several thousand dollars to area youth sports activities every year. Hope everyone comes out to support it.
