Maurice Clarett Rumor (Montana Bound)

I'm a marshall fan and live in Columbus, Ohio. There was an interview with Maurice Clarett Saturday and it showed up in Today's paper. (I couldn't attach a link to the article but it's in today's Columubs Dispatch. When asked if he was considering transfering he said "Yes, It is pretty a done deal that i'm transfering out of Ohio State. There is too much going on here to remain at Ohio State." The interviewer asked if he had contacted any schools and Clarette said yes. "I have talked to the aministration at Montana and will probably enroll next semester and play there next year". When the columnist asked Clarette why he chose Montana over all his other options Clarett stated "After everything that has happened here at Ohio State, I just want to get as far away from major college football as possible"

Ps. GrizRock.. that one is for you baby. To all the other Montana fans.. sorry.. this guy is on MU's board daily talking smack. I figured after your thrashing to a Division II school last night... this would be an appropriate time to get a little revenge.

There is absoultly no way the Clarrette will end up at Montana. I wish he would but it just isn't going to happen. He is a Ohio kid and if he comes down to 1-aa he will play at Youngstown and that team will make its return to the upper echlon of 1-aa. Plus, if the Griz got Clarrette we would have to go out and get somebody worth a damn to coach him and a line that would block. After yesterdays game I highly doubt Clarrette would even consider the current Griz team as an option for him to transfer too.
 
I knew there'd be someone who'd take it seriously. :D That's okay, FLGRIZ, I'm sure you've got a lot on your mind.
 
I should not have taken that seriouly. I haven't been thinking straight since the game ended yesterday it just kind of spun my world upside down. Herd069 you certainly got me but it was in a moment of weakness. I'm just still to stunned and pissed off about the game to think straight right now.
 
$20 says i get at least one more person before the end of the week.

As I said, this is basically just a bit of nasty revenge for GrizRock who LIVES on the Marshall board and was dumb enought to give Marshall fans the address to this site. It's amazing how ONE person can make you want to hate an entire team.
 
That's unfortunate. GrizRoc at least now is probably bad-mouthing the Griz a lot worse than he is to Marshall now. That was a good fight you put up at Tennessee yesterday. I hope you reconsider your position on the Griz.
 
At one point i actually was looking to buy a Montana hat or some gear. I thought that may be cool just because it's not a team that you see around alot. However, after this guy has run his mouth for over a year and seems to take great pride in ANYTHING negative that happens at Marshall.... it's impossible to even root for Montana. Like i said... it's strange when ONE guy can taint your entire opinion of a team but he is a little too over the top. Nothing makes me happier than knowing that he is upset over this loss (even though decent montana fans don't deserve it.. this SOB diserves the loss big time)

At least everything I wrote on your (ESPN's) site was either my opinion or the truth. I responded to you and your lame-assed friends talking like Marshall was some kind of National Power-House. I brought your spinning heads back to earth...junior. I never would have interupted your "love-fest" if I had not read that all the talk about how much the country respected the Marshall program and which "big" conference would be giving you an "invite"! What a crock that turned out to be. Just like I told you....NOBODY INVITED YOU ANYWHERE!! HAAAAAA! After the Moss "incident" I doubt the "program" will ever be respected.

So cry me a river about how one guy messed up your plans to be a GRIZ fan...I can't stop laughing girly boy! You wouldn't be allowed to be a GRIZ fan anyway. Keep dreaming...we don't take sissy's! :lol:
 
I hear there are attorney's and agents standing in line to file lawsuits against the NFL to get him (because of his age or lack of time in the NCAA)

let him go.... get him out of the greatest game ever invented... College Football....let him go to the NFL where they accept criminals and criminal type behavior...he is a hell of a running back, but an individual of more than questionable character.

I was watching Monday Night Football last night and one of the Eagles introduced himself as being from University of Marshall. That isn't right is it? It's Marshall University.

Well anyway I think they are doing pretty darn well at 1A and they will get out of the MAC. I think the MAC will be 1AA in 5 years, and Marshall will be somewhere else. A much more respected conference than the MAC. They might along with Boise State get into the BCS.
 
BTW...JUMUS. You might want to start reading some history behind this "67" guy before you two start hugging...and sucking up about what is "unfortunate". The guy is a complete idiot.

And other than this JOKE about clarett.. what have i said about Montana that isn't true. You are a laughing stock. You got beat by a Division II team. Pathetic. Are you proud of your loss?? Griz.. i have been giving your team hell for a total of 24 hours. You do this EVERY day ALL day over on the Marshall board. Now, i'm just getting kickin you when your down.
