Maroon-Silver Scrimmage

Boehning did not play. No mention of why.

The box score tells the story in terms of scoring, rebounding, etc. This biggest surprise to me was Zach Camel. He looked very poised and shot very well. Walter Wright looked very good, is lightning quick and I suspect will begin the season as the starting point guard. Gfeller, Breunig and Krslovic looked good. Nobody could stop Breunig from scoring inside. Rorie left me wishing he was eligible to play this year. I think this guy is going to be first team All-Big Sky next year.

From looking at the box score only:
--Krslovic, Gfeller and Breunig: Ready to roll. Gfeller: Breakout year?
--Wright: Four turnovers, two assists--not the ratio you want.
--Rorie: Could we put him through the witness protection program and sneak him in this year?
--Our freshmen phenoms, Moorehead, Oguine and Samuelson: Still freshmen. A total of 63 minutes, seven points, three rebounds, three assists. Ouch!
--the Maroon-Silver scrimmage: It's official now. Basketball season is on.
