1999 Weber State 14-seed upsets 3-seed North Carolina video highlights

Thanks for posting this link weberwildcat! I'll definitely have to check that out later today.

The montanagrizzlies.com site has a lot of good highlight videos of past Griz games too:

socalgriz - This section of the forums says it's for "Grizzly Basketball and related Big Sky Hoops." so I don't see anything wrong with what weberwildcat posted here. That was a huge win for Weber and the entire Big Sky Conference. Anytime a Big Sky team can upset a big time team like North Carolina (especially in the NCAA tournament) its a great thing for all teams in our conference! That Weber team that beat NC was something special, and I'm looking forward to checking out the highlights at the link weberwildcat posted.

Ancient history.

I enjoyed the highlight reel. Got to thinking, what is Arseno (sp) doing now? Anyone know? I have to admit he was definitely a special player in the Big Sky! Fun to watch his enthusiasm & skill!

In answer to yoiur question, If I had to guess on the one team from the Big Sky who will make the NCAA in March I would guess Northern Colorado at this point.

Pretty early though

This article was on ESPN just this past Sept:

Arceneaux travels the globe for hoops
http://sports.espn.go.com/ncb/columns/story?columnist=oneil_dana&id=4511008

Also, point guard Eddie Gill spent most of the past 10 yrs in the NBA and is now over seas

That was an amazing team. I'd go crazy to see a Big Sky team pull off another upset. Watching UM beat the WAC champ in 2006 tourney really made my day!!

The point is just a fun video to watch with conference starting up to get excited for basketball. Intention was not to brag about WSU or dis you.

Just was a great moment in big sky basketball history. The UM upset was amazing, I mentioned it in my last post on here.

Thanks for posting this. I always root for BSC teams whenever we're not playing them. Those kind of upsets are what make the tournament so great! I look forward to the Conference Championship. It should be really exciting this year. . .

What surprises me is that few GRIZ fans seem to remember Scooter Christensen, now a big draw WORLDWIDE with the Harlem Globetrotters...That is something UM fans and alumni should be very proud of, for obvious reasons....there is also a kid from Idaho State but I am ashamed to say, I can't remember his name...Christensen is the star of the new Globetrotters....and proudly lists his school as Montana....
