Man it does my heart good to see this kid getting quality playing time. His attitude and approach to this game and this team is the consummate team player. SO good to see him get the TD and get meaningful snaps, catches and playing time.

Now, carry on with your regularly scheduled pissing and moaning...

Totally agree. Well, not so much about the pissing and moaning....I'm getting old, that's what we do. But I will work on it. :thumb:

Thank you, thank you, nice to know that the coaches read e-griz for I want to take credit  for Simis.
I believe I was the first to comment on after Simis was announced to play 3rd QB wouldn't it be great to see him in the wildcat. Now for maybe a little throw down there.

I sure hope we have a pass option for Simis in the Wildcat. Seems like it is EXACTLY the same play when he is inserted, even from the 6 yard line. Teams will now game plan for that situation.
Go Griz!

I know this is a Simis thread, but was cool to see Jensen truck that PSU player when he ran the ball.

I too agree with the sentiment of this thread. Great to see Simis play.

Pretty sure Simis threw to JLM in the endzone. JLM was tripped in some way and the play was broken up

Gresch threw to JLM on the no call PI in the end zone. Glad though to see the "heavy package" of last year is history. Simis in the wildcat appears to be a very good option at the goal line as long as every Simis play is not a quarterback keeper up the middle. As stated above, if that is the case, pretty easy to scheme for as soon as the opponent sees Simis come in. Have to hope Stitt and company have added a few wrinkles to use in that package to use in crunch time in future games.

Oh. I thought they lined up another time with Simis and he threw it. Would be good to mix it up with an occasional pass

Oh very cool, I have always like out "QB/linebacker"

Reminded me of Andrew Luck in his Stanford days. :thumb:

Got to love the attitude, efforts, unselfishness, and leadership of Simis, Ralston, and Sprunk. These guys have truly done everything a staff and teammates could ask of any player. For those reasons, those 3 will forever be remembered by many of GRIZ NATION.

Yep. My three favorite players on the Griz, for sure.

Just a small note on this: All three have played multiple positions without complaint, and have become starters--and not one of them is from Montana (well, Sprunk is a legacy Griz, but played high school ball in Oregon). Love those Montana players (I'm a native Montanan myself), but some of the greatest Griz, and greatest people who were/are Griz, have been out-of-staters. Once they don the uniform, I don't give a rip where they're from--especially if they produce on and off the field like these three have.

Nor do I.
