I'm glad he's getting some love on this board.
I met him at a friend's birthday party when I was in junior high. I had no idea who he was then, but that voice was obviously unforgettable. The man has some good pipes. (He doesn't need to fake it or pretend it's lower, it just works for him w/o being gimmicky like oh, say, Joe Buck from Fox Sports).

Anyway, I told my dad he was at the party and he thought that was pretty cool.

Later, when I was at the J-school at UM, he came and spoke to a gathering of students. Helluva nice guy. Helluva nice guy.

If I were a betting person (which I am), I would bet that LK leaves next year. I don't think he will go this year unless a very good job (Pac 10 or higher) opens up. I think he will leave after next year.

Don't want him to go, but just being realistic. I hope he gets a great job. He has the program here on the move. To a point where I wouldn't want to be Tinkle or whoever else follows him.

looks like Arizona State is opening up - I hope LK doesn't go, but he has to be a candidate, and it has to be tempting.
