Loud Strategy? Revised

Edit: i thought he played 3 games.
I verified, he played 4 games.
Revised question: Do we save him for the playoffs or play him before? Let's assume, he's 100% come the Brawl.

We're all wondering about Loud's return.
I thought for sure he'd be back by now. I now think, we're getting by without him. So, why not let him heal as much as possible? Why not hold off his return for the Brawl?

IF that's the case, that's brilliant strategy!
Our Defense gets much better, we reduce the chances of him being poached, and this is his Redshirt year! Plus we get more reps for more CBs until then. That means an extra year of eligibility!

Thoughts?

They will play him when he is ready. Why hold him out longer than that just to keep him until Griz/Cat?

OR he is out for the year. I don’t know if that is the case, but it wouldn’t surprise me. Young guys are getting reps and getting better. Best case scenario he comes back for the PSU game and plays sparingly. Then is ready for the brawl. I just fear it is worse than people think.

He's already played in 4 games this season, if he comes back before the playoffs, he won't be able to use his redshirt.

I personally think we could really use him against the cats, and would like to see him back ASAP.

If he's healthy he's playing against the Cats no question. Redshirts don't mean anything with the portal the way it is now. I don't think we need him for EWU or Portland State so I wouldn't expect him back before the Brawl.

I'd personally like him to be back and play a bit vs PSU to shake off any rust and get back into the groove of things before the Cats, but regardless we will do what we can with who we have.

Play him as soon as he can play. He's a huge part of the D.
 
I was driving and listening to post game on radio and Bobby said that young guys are stepping up and Bobby said "we have had two CB's that have been out..for now." I am assuming the other is Breston.

Gentry is out for season with a torn ACL, posted it on his TikTok. As we know, Loud is out. If their is a third injury, I think it is Breston.

Beaner made a great play in the corner of the end zone that he couldn’t make earlier in his playing season. Great improvement. Brother should have made a pick in his first game. Too bad he couldn’t make the play.
