Well it depends on which sport you’re talking about. ASU is light years ahead of UA in the state of Arizona in football. Not so much in basketball. Idaho >>>> Idaho State.

And I have no idea what BMS is in Wyoming.

So many are eating the trash on twitter. For what it’s worth, Montana is correct, of course. They had to dig deep for Wyoming. Not sure if that place exists. Texas was for twitter engagement purposes for sure. The acronym for the survey service is a decent clue.

Marty Daniel's led the BMS Goats to Back-to-Back national championships... One of the greatest teams ever!! Thad Castle was a #1 overall pick.

Bemidji State is in Minnesota...I've heard Hauck talk more about them than Minnesota.

You think they had to dig deep in Wyoming? Check out Vermont. They couldn’t come up with anything so they went with Monsters University 🤣

I’ll be honest: I didn’t look at the Northeast at all. That’s a fantastic catch by you.

I would postulate that the bubcats are the biggest of the little bro group. I’m not talking about just being physically littler, younger, dumber, more naïve, etc. Of course the bubs have all those traits in spades. But there’s something extra re bubs.

It’s a mental complex. Little man’s disease. They literally have truck nuts and copy us on everything. They cheer about us when playing other teams or at weddings. Their whole existence is based on us—more so than any other lil bro on this list. It’s true.

The ones that jumps out to me are U of Texas,Michigan and Minnesota. There's, obviously, no other big-time program in Minnesota, and Texas and Michigan are the premier colleges in their respective states,IMO.

A&M and MSU alumni would have a good argument to challenge that statement.

I don’t agree with regard to Michigan State.

Whether we’re talking football, basketball, or academics, U. Mich > Michigan State. In football, the series has been even for the past 20 years or so, but the overall series record is pretty similar to our record against the Cats. In basketball, the series is closer, but Michigan still has a slight edge in the series.

Academically, the two schools aren’t even close. Michigan is a legit top-20 school; Michigan State is solid but not in the same league.
