Listen to him, he's so right

 I like Phillips. He's a gutsy young man who's not afraid to speak his mind publicly. And I agree with him wholeheartedly.

I don't disagree with Reece's tweet, but it begs several questions.:

Why is this the case? Its happened a couple years in a row now.

Is it possible that the offense that Coach Stitt has implemented is too dangerous for this level of competition?

What can be done to prevent or at least reduce the number of quarterback injuries?
Stitt himself has indicated that you need a lot of qb's to run his offense. What does that tell us?

He is 100% correct. He's a leader, and this team seems to follow him. I get the feeling this team is kind of bonding and coming together over all the turmoil surrounding the coaches (mostly brought on by anonymous guys online). Let's get behind this team, enjoy the rest of the season, and give them our support again in 2018-regardless of who is coaching. It's about the Griz-not coaching staff. Win every game a year, or lose every game-we need to support them. Go Griz!

Teams that run the triple option are harder on the qb I bet, look at how our guys have been hurt. All of them come from playing football, not because of stitts style of offense, it's that simple.

It happens.

No.

Keep them off the field in entirety.

Just what it says.

Furthermore, I would like to see where he said or indicated it takes a lot of quarterbacks.....context is everything.

1. Hope he gets a medical

2. He does a good "Ice Ice Baby"

Me too because I think Hill is gonzo.

Bad start on a short leash. Sometimes people get their feelings hurt when good decisions are made. Hope Caleb responds positively. Simis is a good example over his career of how to respond to playing time being taken away.

Still don't buy the "this level of competition" arguments. If your QB is taking a lot of hits he's likely to get hurt no matter what level, unless he has the body type to withstand it. Looking at the QB stats at CO Mines over the past 10 years, there's only one year when a mix of QB's played, and that looked to be the year that future Div II player of the year Dvorak was transitioning in as a freshman.

How could Stitt's offense be harder on a QB than an offense like MSU's that has your QB running all the time?

I'd like to know this as well. First time I'm hearing of it.
