Likin' Larry....or Kudos for Krystkowiak

Some fan comments:

"The Bucks actually looked like an organized professional team and not a bunch of guys playing a pick up game at the Y like they have looked most of this year."

"What I liked is that Coach K had all his players sit down and face him, so they actually listened during timeouts. No one was looking up at the screen. He automatically commands more respect than stotts."

"All that talk about defense. All that talk about passing the ball. All those Can Do attitudes. It's like a Christmas where you get everything you Really want. I don't demand it last forever. Tonight was enough to savor and renew the sense of possibilities."

"Coach K scares me."

yeah. K said it, he means it, and the fans & players seem to like it.

.".....Bogut saying that Coach K talked about emphasizing defense and implying that those who didn't would play less. Greer saying the coach put him in a position to feel confident and do well..... it now looks like our new coach can communicate and lead. That's like mending holes in the bottom of the lifeboat - rather than just bailing like hell."

"....maybe coach k's been upset with mo's play lately...i know he's just referring to the ejection, but still, the wording is interesting.."

"The door for Mo closed tonight, and the door opened for Lynn," Krystkowiak said

i wonder how krysko will do in developing yi jianlin.

yep, i got fifty cents riding on the bucks picking up the 'chinese amare stoudamire'.

Larry K is the real deal. He commands respect; he will not
cotton attitudes. I hope it works for him in the wacked world of
the NBA.

Coach K got mentioned in the April issue of ESPN the Magazine, in the 'Screw the Math' section:

At his current pace, Milwaukee's Larry Krystkowiak will become the NBA's all-time winningest coach in 2024.
