Liberty Observations

I think it's a little difficult to base Liberty's strengths and weaknesses against a far superior team in West Virginia. I love the Griz, but let's be honest here.... WVU would smoke us to right now. Liberty seems to be a good team and it will take a great game by the Griz to pull off the win on the road.
Insufficient Kool-Aid....

Now that one is funny! Seriously, however, I think we have a 50% chance of winning. Liberty may be better than Poly. Like I said in a thread I started, we will know much more about how good (or bad) we are after this game. Even though the pin heads made fun of the thread, it is true. Our schedule has lots of weak teams in the future. You learn NOTHING about your team from these games. Only against solid teams, and preferably on the road. We will know on Saturday if we 1) have a running game against a legit FCS defense; 2) have a QB who can avoid turnovers 3) have a defensive line who can hold up to a good multiple offense on the road. 4) have a coaching staff who can make better decisions in crunch time

But Atlanta....If after all of that occurs in the Liberty Vallance game what are you going to talk about?
Nothing is left? You are screwed! Never in the 20 years of listening to you have I ever watched you put all the negative pre-game items on the table.

You have gone soft. Perhaps normal for a 66 year old.

What happens if 1) we run for less than 100 yards, 2) our QB has a fumble and 2 INT's, 3) our defensive line gives up 400+ yards and 30 points and 4) our coaching staff coaches exactly like the CP game....

....but we win.

Mind.

Blown.

Wait, so you're saying the only stats that matter might be the points on the scoreboard at the end of the game? That's crazy talk, sir!
