Pluto cut off the post game show but saw Bria Dixson in a boot during the game. Anybody know more on the estimated time out for her?

I thought that was Molmberg. I could be wrong.

Stiles looked healthy and dominant. She looked unstoppable at times. Gfeller May be most improved player on the team. Picking up Thurmon was a great get. The three pointer she hit with about 4 minutes left in the game up when North Dakota started to push was huge.

This team looks vastly improved from the last few years.

It kinda looks like Dixson at the left end of this game photo:

Agree that Stiles looked good. In the first half, it seemed like she was chasing down every loose ball/rebound. I was going to check if she had double digit rebounds before halftime. It's too bad they don't keep stats for dislodging the ball or something for the amount of times she pokes the ball free to a teammate or disrupts a passing lane where another player might get credit for the steal. Kind of like Abby Anderson altering far more shots than the blocks she gets credited for. Also, excited for Stiles as she looked fearless attacking the rim again.

Gfeller had a pretty good freshman year (I specifically remember her impact at Sacramento). While she had the same mid-range touch and some good post moves then, I do agree that she's been more consistent this year (haha although with only a small sample size).

Thurmon doesn't need a lot of space to get a shot off and can shoot over most guards/forwards, which are both so valuable. Dixson also has a quick release and even showed good ability to shoot off-balanced and on-the-move from beyond the arc in the Utah State game, so it will be good to get her back.

Overall, I was most impressed by the LG's defensive improvement in one game. There were only a few smack-my-head, wide open shots the whole game compared to almost every 3 point attempt in the Utah State game. And one where I believe Stiles? sagged to the key to help double, leaving the wing open was forgivable since it was due to effort/trying to do too much.

Yep I agree, that looks like Dixson in that pic. When the team celebrated at the end, I’m pretty sure I also saw Molmberg in a boot so maybe they both are. Anyone know for certain?

Great to see this group really taking a big step in the right direction after opening loss. They looked much improved in just about every aspect of the game. Not sure about anyone else, but for me, most notable is the language players and the coach are using during interviews. "Our practices are so much fun", "I love playing with Sophia", "the team attitude they've carried so far has been very positive, very energetic, and the practices have been fun and energetic." In my mind, that is most important at this point. Really excited to see what this young group can accomplish this season.

A change of culture can do wonders.

Molmberg isn't hurt.
