Let's talk about the game!!

There is a game coming up this Saturday, a playoff game, a rematch, a game for BSC bragging rights, a game vs arguably our most hated opponent. It is Wednesday, it is time for everyone to start focusing on the game, we can focus on who the next coach is in the off-season, and off-season that I do not want to start anytime soon! If the Griz come out on top in the turnover battle, they will win this game. Since the last time we played our defense has improved, our game plans have improved, and the offense has shown that we can have a high-output passing game. Adams maybe more mobile this time, but our dline will still get pressure on him, we just cannot have a guy come up out of coverage and have a throw go over him. The Griz have to get ahead early in the game and not play from behind, we cannot get down by over 10 points in the second half and expect that we will come out on top, but I think we will score at will this game, assuming the weather does not play a factor. Keep the tempo up with the offense and keep EWU on its heels all game. If you can't tell I am fired up for Saturday, so who is with me??

I agree with you...but I think many people over exaggerate Adams mobility. Yes he is capable at running, but when he scrambles hes really scrambling to throw...and that where he kills people. He also throws very poorly when scrambling to his left, but very good when running to his right.....I think the key to this game is keeping him in the pocket, but when we do bring pressure, blitz the hell out of his right side and flush him left.....when he runs right he leaves the Griz chasing water falls...but to his left...he just looks like a scrub......TLC reference mixed into a football blog BOOOOM!

I see what you did there. Lisa Left-eye and all.
So when we flush Lisa to her left are we "sticking to the rivers and the lakes that we're used to"?

:thumb: which is winning!

Griz D has been playing lights out the last few games. The coaches are finally letting Jordy be Jordy. Not trying to fit a square peg into a round hole by making him be a pro style QB. They are finally letting him run the spread option and spread the field more. I like our chances.
