Lenovo Stat

This is an intersting way of looking at combinations and whihc ones are the most effective/efficient. Maybe one of you basketball junkies can apply this to the Griz and see what it spits out.

Going over the stats from last nights game, it'd be almost impossible to figure out what the Griz players had for a Lenovo stat last night :( Looking at the play by play, it shows Griz players subbing out, and continuing to score, rebound, get assists, etc etc even though they are supposedly on the bench....for example:

SUB OUT: Ellis, Bryan 12:36
GOOD! LAYUP by Chase, Gus [PNT] 12:27 17-14 H 3
ASSIST by Ellis, Bryan 12:27
MISSED FT SHOT by Chase, Gus 12:27
TURNOVR by Ellis, Bryan 11:57
11:57 TIMEOUT MEDIA
SUB IN : Ellis, Bryan 11:57

So somehow Ellis subbed out at 12:36, got an assist with 12:27 to go in the half, and turned the ball over with 11:57 to go in the half right before the media timeout where he subbed back in :P

The stats are less than reliable unfortunately :( It would be neat to see what Strait & the other Griz players had for that stat though :) Oh well....kind of a cool stat though to look at for the NBA.. There was another similar odd stat like that a while ago.. I can't remember what it was called, but I do remember it had a lot to do with the players shooting %, points scored, FTs and a couple other stats to basically give a rating of how much the player contributed positive to the team (or negative if their shooting% was really bad).
