Anybody watch this guy last night?

Like alot of you, I haven't been a NBA fan for awile, but he's pulling me back in. I haven't seen anyone take control of a playoff game like that in awhile!

Dope.

Well, since you are probably too young to remember the great MJ, better watch LeBron. He's only 22, and only going to get better.

Sorry, Swilly, but it just is lame. Of all the major professional sports, the NBA is EASILY my least favorite -- and I probably won't watch any of the championship series because I've no interest in either team and I don't like several of the players who play for them. Let's be honest -- watching an NBA game is something I do perhaps three or four times a year.

Since Jordan retiring, I was losing interest in the NBA. I will admit though, the ball being played now is getting back to how it supposed to be. I love watching teams like the Mavs, Suns, Warriors, those teams are bringing fun back into the NBA. Also there are a few players that I love to watch. LeBron James is unbelievable in every aspect. Love him or hate him, Kobe is fun to watch too. I have always liked Garnett. Nash, Nowitzki, Stoudemire, Howard (Orlando Big Man), Kidd, McGrady, Anthony, and Duncan are all players I like to watch as well. I will be pulling big time for Odom and Durant to succeed. After all, Portland and Seattle are both regional team, close enough to roadtrip to. Seattle and Portland better not trade these picks away. I want these guys playing as close to Montana as possible.

Whatever man. I hear that shit all the time these days. I love the NBA probably just because I love basketball but its a great league and the basketball is vastly improving. Hopefully people will start to get into the NBA like they were during Showtime and MJ's Bulls

I must admit that I did enjoy watching the NBA when MJ was playing. They actually played team basketball in those days. It seems a few teams are getting back to this style of play, but I don't think it will ever get back to how it was played as a team sport. It's just too much one-on-one, no defense, travelling, flopping and dramatic acting going on for me to enjoy the league anymore.

Yet you watch the NHL...

I dont even know what channel that garbage is on anymore.

At least the NHL is still true to itself, and it takes a skill to even play the sport. I agree, Bettman has destroyed the fan support for the game, but if you understand the game it's hard to argue against it being the most exciting sport to watch.

it's not for the entire regular season. i played hockey for my entire life and i cannot stand regular season hockey. until they play on olympic sized sheets i'm only watching playoffs, which for some reason, was not on nbc or vs tonight.

Dope.

25 of teams last 26 points.

only one word for that...wow

Dahlberg, yes, the Sens-Ducks game was on NBC tonight. The only problem was that the wrong team won ... sigh.

The only regular season that is exciting is football. Nobody cares about the regular season in baseball, football or hockey anymore.

Baseball's good when teams are on a roll. Pennant chases and rivalry series are fun. The big national tv bball on weekend afternoons games are good. College hoops has good conference games. hockey has the biggest disparity in excitement between regular season and playoffs--this may be bc stanley cup playoffs were so good.

However, in seattle we got the evening news instead of game 4. it's kind of sad that a "major" sport can get bumped like that.

I understand the game just fine. Now if only I can find the channel that any of these games are on maybe I can watch a few. The problem with NBA basketball is that these guys are almost TOO good to be fun to watch. What are teams going to do when LEbron or Kobe wanna drive to the hoop? Help down so Danny Gibson or Luke Walton are wide open on the perimeter? Lets say the don't help down, well then the guy is going to blow by you and dunk on somebody. What happens when the guy doesnt blow by you and you acutally play good Defense? then he steps back and hits a fade from the baseline.

Obviously im simplifying thing to a point here but the fact is that NBA players play defense and try and all that other nonsense that is stereotyped about the NBA its just these players are alot of the time too good. Just one man's opinion
