1st and ten from the 23 of the griz...Run up the middle for 6 yards, now 2nd and 8 from the 20. Pass...caught...now 3rd and 6 from the 33.
The only two games I ever listened to Mick that's exactly how his commentary went.
Yeah. He does. But that's why we love him. I don't know how many basketball games I have heard him say on a crucial Griz free throw, "shot goes down...rattles around and...comes out!" Aaargh! But nobody can replace "Touchdown Montana!" or "Down the pickle barrel Baby!" Mick's a sports announcing icon for me and I have heard him for 31 years and never for a minute imagined he would be cast off like Learfield did. Anyone know how many Montana-Sports-Broadcaster-of-the-Year awards he has? Twelve. No one else even close.

I heard it was $7.99 plus a plate of marijuana laced brownies cooked by a bobcat football player. But, rumors are just rumors.![]()
That's one way to say it. Another is the Griz were taken to the edge of an isolated Gallatin County corn field.SACCAT66 said:statler & waldorf said:mcg said:How much did Learfield pay for the broadcast rights to Griz games?

Did the Griz coaches and/or players get into a naked three-point stance to charge a cop, and then murder a guy after selling a ton of people meth? I forget.
