Latest JJ News Flash???

The ONLY thing I can tell is the public is being exposed to the rather childish motion counter motion petty arguing between lawyers that makes up our current legal system.
 
Gwen Florio is consistently setting the bar at floor level! I'm not sure how she will lower her writing after today's piece though. These are simply legal proceedings that are very very common as part of discovery. How is this news?!

I have also noticed Her penchant for referring to Jordan Johnson as a former or ex Grizzly quarterback. At the very least the editor's should be correcting this. In all stories regarding JJ he should be referred to as "Suspended Grizzly Quarterback ...".

True fact ... and notoriously so. The disconnect between articles and headlines (written by totally different people) at newspapers is absolutely laughable. It does not seem to be quite as bad at magazines, but it happens even there. But then ... if I were tasked to come up with an eye-catching headline for Florio's POS, I have no idea what I might have written. "Incoherent Rant" ?
 
Would Gwen or anyone from the Missoulian, please tell us what is being done to the other accused violators of sexual charges? Did we not hear this is a problem for the whole university, beyond our athletes?
Please tell us if that is right or wrong? IF right, please update on us how many other cases are going to court, and what charges are pending on the other accused parties? Are the other accused parties on disciplinary actions at Montana? How are the other accused being treated? Have any of the other accused asked to meet with their accusers?

My point being, there is much more to being a writer than femi nazi witch hunt on a football player!!!
Gwen, is your agenda to bring JJ down, or is it to bring our attention to a problem in Missoula and the University of Montana? Seriously, we have been told we have a problem in Missoula and the U of M, yet why is all the reporting on and about Jordan Johnson? What about the other accused and accusers? What about the other cases?

GRIZ fans and the Missoula community is tired of your tabloid journalism and your obsession against Jordan Johnson and Montana GRIZ Football!!!! I pray for all parties in all cases. I really do hope, if JJ is found innocent, you Gwen Florio face the same public scorn as you have done to JJ. I hope, if there is a lawsuit to be made, it is on the Missoulian and/or Gwen Florio, I hope your unprofessional approach leads you to a dead end career, or even the national tabloid. Your BS reporting does not belong in Montana.

Seriously, can someone update the public on the progress of the other sex crimes? Get the fuck off JJ's ass!!!
 
Here is the story I heard on GF.
She has a son named Sean who used to be on the Kaiman Staff and he was often scolded for his poor journalism, making up facts, embellishing stories etc. Over time, Sean was run out and GF took offense to UM doing the right thing, since that apparently goes against her beliefs-doing the right thing that is.

I really don't know what GF's boss Sherry Devlin has against UM but she seems to hate anything to do with athletics. I think, but I am not 100% sure, at one point she was turned down on a job interview at UM by a search committee. Same with Betsy Cohen.

I not sure what the publisher-JIm McGowan has against UM exept for the fact UM cut back on advertising which was wise since advertising in papers does not have the same bang for it buck it used to.
 
Her objective in ruining Griz football and JJs career is actually going to come back to haunt her. It should be a lot of fun watching her try and escape out of the wet paper bag as JJ takes snaps under center next year.

Yeah I hope it works out for JJ, and after that case win maybe he can take a legal shot at the Missoulian for defamation and slanderous reporting that threatened his reputation.
 
One legitimate story they could research and write would be to expose the resources in staff and expense being expended on this case and to compare it to other similar ones. That would take some investigative effort and is clearly newsworthy. Too bad these considerations arent taken into account when they decide what to publish.
 
"pooh - poohed" My first thought on this article went directly to "what did Winnie have to do with this? Did she really want me to take this article serious after using that? Where did she graduate from college?

BTW "pooh-poohed" is a real word and the thesaurus provided some words she should have used instead of showing her.....biased. Wouldn't have dismissed or rejected been adequate? Even scoff or spurned adds some further emotion, but pooh-poohed? Tells me she doesn't think this is very serious...and it really is. Not just about Grizzly Football, its about some young lifes and their future. I could not imagine trying to deal with this when I was 20.
