It was an epic game...

If it weren't for Nguyen's muffed punt and falling out of the back of the end zone on a kick return the game wouldn't of been as close...

Can't wait for a battle on Saturday.

Oh Wow I forgot about that.
Not only did that call cost us 2 pts, it also cost us serious momentum.

None the less great game.
 
I couldn't believe that was called a safety. If you catch the ball in the endzone without bringing the ball back out into the field and then you run out of bounds, isn't that still considered a touchback?

Incorrect. In fact, they admitted as much after the game that they blew the call. That is a touchback, not a safety and Griz should have had the ball at the 20 yard line.
 
I was thinking of a punt, you are correct stepping out of the end zone on a kick off is a touchback.

It was a great game. Watching it again made me think of two things....

It is just a matter of time before somebody wises up and puts Chase Reynolds on a roster

That was one helluva catch that C.J. Atkins made

My wife always accuses me of looking for a blowout, but I was reminded last week that I get bored by a blowout. (At least after the fact) it's these exciting nail-biters that are memorable.
