LADY GRIZ vs Udub

Was a five point game when Montana missed on a breakaway layup, got a stop on defense, then missed on their next possession. Potential tie game turns into a 14-point deficit, with about 7 minutes left.
The good:
--Katie Mayhew. She's gonna be a star.
--Jamie Pickens from Helena coming aboard next year. We desperately need some bulk underneath.
--Our defense.
--Our hustle, our scrappiness.
The bad:
--The turnovers. It's the Holiday season, so we gifted them, apparently, a ton of possessions.
--The lack of athleticism. (See turnovers.)
--The absence of athletes of color. (See lack of athleticism.)
The good:

We're sure pretty god damn lucky that the UofM didn't bother recruiting over the years the likes of Kelsey Plum, Jackie Stiles, Elena Delle Donne, Cindy Blodgett, Diana Taurasi, Sue Bird, Rebecca Lobo and Breanna Stewart and Andrea Lloyd, etc., etc., etc. Then good 'o 'Citay' would be out marching down the streets of Charlottesville saying how they're all too unathletic and all that calling everybody else a cunt, Jew, slanteye, wetback, raghead, grease-ball, banana, yokel, dago, dink, gringo, Hymie, Nip, Russki, tacohead, etc., etc., etc.

When the ladies were in their heyday, overall it was a bit less diverse throughout the country. As more black girls have started to play, there have been more colleges that have recruited those very athletic girls. Yes, there are plenty of white, Native American, and other that are just as athletic or more so, but overall please don’t pretend that there is a bit more athleticism in AA players, men or women...in any sport. There’s a reason the last white corner in the nfl was who??? What he is saying is that the Griz would benefit from more diversity and perceived athleticism on the roster. That’s it...and it’s been over hammered on here. I personally see his point, and can somewhat agree, but don’t care who/what/where the players are or come from if they RTD for the ladies as well.
I love Montanans on the roster, but pink, purple, black, or white, there aren’t enough to make the ladies competitive nationally. Generally speaking, black athletes have the edge in some aspects of athletics. If you don’t really see that, you’re either ignorant, a racist, or a moron.
