Anybody out there have score/time/highlight updates on the game for us remote Lady Griz fans not having fast enough internet service to get it live????

Official stats are up now. Sonya had 24 points in 40 minutes. Official stats aren't that accurate as Sonya is credited with 40 minutes but Selvig said on post game radio show that Sonya took an elbow and had to go out of the game for a bit. Important thing though is that Sonya shot better from the field including from 3 point line. 7 - 13 from the field, 3 - 5 from 3 point line. Also went 7 - 7 from the freethrow line

Mandy had 8 points, 7 rebounds, and 5 assists.

Lady Griz won it at the freethrow line. 23 - 28 at the line versus 11 - 12 at line for Denver. Guess Denver was homered in their own place.
 
the thing about the lady griz is, their defense. i love the way they play defense. and i especially love the way robin selvig coaches defense, and the way he talks about defense. here's his quote from today's game about defense:

"The major difference was we started playing better defense in the second half. The first half was embarrassing. We weren’t talking, we didn’t have good energy, we just seemed to be ankle-deep in the floor."

...ankle deep in the floor...what a wonderful image. tinks will say something like, "we're working on some adjustments to our defense," but robin says, "we were ankle-deep in the floor. we weren't talking, we didn't have good energy." i love it. that's a coach with passion for defense. that's a coach with 700 wins.
