Agreed, this is probably exactly the kind of game the LG needed. GREAT comeback win!

Great game by Lady Griz. First half, Bears beat Lady Griz on the boards 22 - 14. 9 of those 22 rebounds by the bears were on the offensive end. Big Reason for Bears leading at the half.

Second half, Lady Griz outrebounded the bears by the same amount that bears outrebounded Lady Griz in second half. Lady Griz got 10 offensive rebounds in the second half. Big turn around for which I consider the major reason for the win. That in addition to Sonya scoring 14 points in the second half, and Mandy hitting the freethrows. Clossen had two good halves, but she was so much more intense and aggressive in the second half. she had 6 of her 8 rebounds in the second half. Whenever she hits her first shot, pretty much expect her to have a good game.

Next game will be even tougher. PSU is coming into town. The only team left in the league with only 1 loss. Unfortunately, I will be in Whistler, BC skiing. May have to find an internet connection somewhere there so that I can follow both the Lady Griz and Griz.
