Last year, it took the Lady Griz 13 games to win two conference games. After today, they're 2 for 2 after their 81-71 win over lowly Southern Utah.
Madi Schoening was POTG with 15 points and 8 rebounds, but Hailey Nicholson really impressed me with 17 points off the bench (in 23 minutes of play).
Also the season debut of transfer Caitlin Lonergan, who did a great job for someone that hasn't played a basketball game since high school. Only played 7 minutes but managed to get 7 points and 5 boards.
