LG win 90 - 87. Now 16 - 1.

Gaurdipee career high-she had a double double by the 3 miinute mark in the first half. :clap: 25pts-13rebounds in 23 minutes
Mandy played good for having stiches in her hand
Dana scored some pts
Dodged a bullet- had a 21 pt lead

Correct me if I'am wrong, but that seems about the most points the LG have given up in a game since they played Duke on the road way back on 26 Nov 94 (that was about 89). Is this about the most points (87) 'ever' given up in a game while the LG still won?
What happened to Mandy's hand?
I loved the way you slipped in that line about Morales having stitches in her hand and playing well nonetheless(17pts)....so I guess I'll throw in that ISU's Lightfoot is playing with a bad achilles (27pts). All it proves is that the great players play whether they're hurt or not.
It was a great game to watch...and absolutely unthinkable that ISU should fall behind 25-4, and then unthinkable that they actually came back and had a shot at winning in the final seconds.
Props to Guardipee...but Lohman was the real game-saver last night. She went off like fireworks on the 4th!
By the way, hasn't Conway figured out yet that refs are actually SUPPOSED to call games the same at each end of the court? The looks on her face when the officials ever do make calls against her or the other LG are hilarious! I swear somebody has convinced her that the refs are being paid to always favor the LG...she's always so surprised when they don't...like she's ready to ask for a refund!

For ISU to win in Dahlberg...they'll have to play the perfect game....
And the difference in the game last night was rebounds (UM - 52, ISU - 28) Offensive put-backs, or 2nd chance points (UM - 22, ISU - 5), and Points in the Paint (UM - 57, ISU - 26)...with most of those paint points coming with almost uncontested layups during the first six minutes of the game when LG jumped out 25-4.
