Maybe that is good. Keep the lady's on edge.
It's more of a case of the strength of schedule. Beating PSU and EWU isn't going to make the coaches voting, go ga ga over the Lady Griz.
Certainly won't this week. Lady Griz playing Sac St and MSU. Both teams ranked real low. Could very well be that Lady Griz drop again next week despite winning both.
Now, Texas is in a pretty good conference. Gained 18 votes, moving from 32nd to 26th to surpass Montana. Texas beat Kansas State, a team that was ranked in the top 25 less than a month ago, by a whopping score of 61 - 34, and prior to that beat 8th ranked Oklahoma. Oklahoma dropped since that loss to Texas.
Montana has no way to compete with some of the teams ranked around them when it comes to scheduling. They just have to worry about themselves and not some poll. I am sure Robin has them ignoring the polls, and just to the next game they are playing.
Thus, a drop in poll will go unnoticed by the poll by Montana. The only thing that keeps Lady Griz on edge is winning every game, one game at a time.
