Lady Griz were lead by Dana Conway with 16 points today to beat New Orleans.
Morales and Sonya Rogers scored 11 points each, and Britney Lohman had 10 points. Heck, two true freshman were stars in this game.
Best assist went to Sonya Rogers. Dana Conway passed it all the way down court to Sonya Rogers who kind of flicked it to an almost not prepared for it Britney Lohman who made the basket and was fouled. Britney also made the freethrow.
Lady Griz still have a hard time shooting the ball, made only 39.1% from the field. Miss so many bunnies, shot selection often not so great. But, UNO had a very tough time against the Lady Griz zone, turned the ball over 28 times giving Lady Griz many opportunities to score. 69 shots altogether.
Katie Edwards Shooting certainly doesn't help going 0 - 7. I think this practicing one day a week doesn't help her get into any rhythm.

Jody Mcleod and Dana Conway lead the Lady Griz with 8 rebounds each. Britney Lohman did well on the boards snagging 5 round balls off the boards.
Lady Griz play University of North Carolina-Asheville tomorrow in the championship game. UNC-Asheville was able to get to the championship game by coming from behind and beating NDSU in the final two minutes of the game after trailing most of the game, part of it being 11 points down.
