Lady Griz 70, Hornets 46

Early this afternoon, during a time I was skiing down snow starved ski runs in western montana (looking forward to smoke filled skies this summer (sarcasm)), Katie Edwards put on a 3 point shooting spree, making 9 out of 12 three pointers. She did it all in the first half.

Anyway, the Lady Griz won 70 to 46 in a romp.

Holly Tyler scored 14 points, followed by 10 points each from Juliann Keller and Johanna Clossen.

Next week, Lady Griz play EWU and PSU.

PSU will likely be an easy win for the Lady Griz.

But EWU will likely be a barn burner.

EWU beat Weber state 63 - 61 in Cheney.

Thus, if Lady Griz sweep next week, will take sole possession of first place
