lack of missoula baseball

im curious on to why there is a lack of people trying out for mavericks baseball...is it that no one wants to commit or is it they dont like the coach...help me here people

Could be that baseball is losing popularity, football is at an all-time high, and individual sports are becoming much more popular as well. (Skateboarding, Biking, Motorcross, Snowboarding, Rock Climbing, Kayaking, etc etc etc.)

yeah but football starts in the fall, but baseball starts in the spring...i think that soccer is starting to overtake americas past time for spring sport

Here in Michigan it is easier to get a soccer scholarship than to get one playing baseball. Maybe thats part of it but I really agree with Re/Max.

We could only hope that soccer does take over. At least you have to run in soccer.
