I really liked watching him play, except when it was against Weber.

I feel like he was a much better player than coach. His first year at Utah he brought his team to Weber and and we kicked them back to SLC with a blowout loss. After that, he refused to play us. We hurt his weedle fewings. He forgot his cane on the bench and when I walked to return it to him, he just grunted and grabbed it. No thank you, no smile, or no recognition of any kind. Not a gratious loser at all. I probably would act in a similar way. However, I would want to play the other team again soon to redeem myself. :thumb:

I believe he is a ferocious competitor and does not hide his emotions well, as you saw that night! Might not be what you want out of him, but it's what you will get!

That is absolutely correct. His 'what you see is what you get' demeanor is okay by me. It was okay with the Utes for a while and would still be okay if he had just won more for them. The Utes did put up with Majeras for quite a while. At that level, winning is the most important factor. Winning for them is competing for a final four berth almost every year.

Utah has sucked since LK departed. 28-35, according to a website I just looked at. Under LK, Utah was 183-139. 4 ncaa appearances since 2004. LK had the last 2 of them. Competing for a final four berth? Utah doesn't even make the tourney most years. Majeras was 323-95.
